Mountain Bike Routes

The mountain bike option is held on the extensive trail network at the Camden Snowbowl. There will be guided and self-guided route options, as well as free rental bikes from Sidecountry Sports. In addition, riders looking to improve their technique on the trail can participate in skills clinics.  Skills clinics and guided mountain bike tours will be offered at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm.  Skills clinics will include: Meet your Mountain Bike, Bike/Body contact intro, shifting and braking practice, mini-agility practice, ending with a short beginner mountain bike ride.

Cost is FREE with a suggested donation of $25 at the ride (cash or credit cards accepted) and advanced registration is strongly recommended. Donations will be used to support the Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s efforts to improve mountain biking around the state. Note: Lobster Ride socks and lunch are not included in the registration of the mountain bike portion of the Lobster Ride and participants are encouraged to buy a lunch ticket and join the after party.
